Wanda JacksonThe National Association of African Americans in Human Resources will honor Wanda Jackson at its 2015 Annual Awards and Recognition Reception. Jackson, Senior Vice President of Human Resources and Chief Talent Officer for the National Urban League, will receive the Community Service Award for her key role in the management of the League’s leadership development programs, and the exposure of young talent to the non-profit sector through the highly competitive Urban League Summer Internship Program.

Committed to helping people find employment, she manages the League’s Annual Conference Career Fair, and is chiefly responsible for the JobsNetwork, an electronic job board.? She led a team in the research and publication of the ground breaking study “Diversity Practices That Work: The American Worker Speaks.”??

A graduate of Boston University’s College of Communications, Jackson is the President and Chief Volunteer Officer of the Girl Scouts of Nassau County. She also serves as trustee, Co-Chair Presidential Search Committee at Nassau Community College.
