A celebration of ?women who have made indelible contributions to the worlds of media, marketing and advertising,? the list has been published for 20 years, and based on the Agency?s continual success, Bacon is a great choice. She started the Agency in 2005 and has acquired many career highlights since then including recently being chosen as Google?s go-to agency for the company?s diversity interests. In May, Bacon and her colleagues arranged a roundtable discussion on ?Community Engagement & Diversity in Tech? for Google that brought together an esteemed group of Black journalists, editors and influencers to discuss how Google is engaging with the Black community.?

The Agency has also been doing extensive work with OWN, Oprah?s Winfrey?s network, helping to promote several new television shows that recently debuted including ?Greenleaf,? a new scripted drama series; and ?For Peete?s Sake,? a reality show that follows the life of actress Holly Robinson-Peete and her family.? ?

A 2012 Network Journal 40 Under Forty honoree, Bacon began her marketing career as senior director of marketing at Island Def Jam Music Group.??????????
