Pamela Puryear, Senior Vice President and Chief Talent Officer of Pfizer Inc, is the recipient of the National Association of African Americans in HR?s Trailblazer Award. The award is given to an outstanding human resources professional who has shown exceptional leadership, exemplary character and a commitment to excellence.
She will receive the award at NAAAHR’s 2016 Annual Excellence in Leadership Awards And Recognition Reception, which recognizes HR professionals in the Greater New York area, who have made substantial contributions in their field, industry and community.
Puryear is responsible for leading strategy for programs and services that impact nearly 100,000 employees globally in the areas of talent management, learning and development, employee engagement, organization culture, diversity and inclusion, and workforce analytics.
Pamela?holds a PhD in Organizational Psychology, an MBA from Harvard Business School, and a BA in Psychology with a concentration in Organizational Behavior from Yale University.
