The National MultiCultural Institute (NMCI) has appointed John R. Kirksey as its new president. Kirksey has gained a reputation as an expert in the diversity and human resources arenas and has been a consultant and advisor to global companies throughout the United States, Europe and Asia. Prior to joining NMCI, he held top management positions at AXA Equitable, Pricewaterhouse Cooper and Marsh & McLennan. In his new role, Kirksey will lead the Institute in continuing its tradition of promoting organizational development and cultural competence among leaders in the diversity field. NMCI?s top initiatives planned for 2010 include projects focused on recognizing? strides made in diversity via not-for-profit sectors and also examining public reaction to diversity via surveys.
