Monique Mulcare was promoted to counsel at Mayer Brown. Based in NY, she is in Mayer Brown?s Restructuring, Bankruptcy & Insolvency practice. Her practice focuses on advising secured lenders, investment banks, broker-dealers, hedge funds, and other financial institution creditors in connection with the purchase, recovery, and sale of US and international distressed assets and loan portfolios.
Mulcare has significant experience in representing creditors in both in-court bankruptcies and insolvencies and out-of-court restructurings and workouts.
A member of the Legal Advisory and Trade Practices and Forms Committee, Loan Syndications and Trading Association, Mulcare earned her J.D. at New York University School of Law. Before that, she received a BA from Hunter College, City University of New York. While at NYU, she served as Articles Editor for the Annual Survey of American Law.
