Luc El-Art Severe has been appointed chief of staff for the division of policy, planning and measurement at NYC Administration for Children?s Services. In this role, he is charged with a variety of tasks including overseeing training, budgeting and human resources; and managing and guiding partnerships with external stakeholder groups and organizations. He will also play a role in the division?s strategic planning.
Prior to joining ACS, Severe served as director of the Office of Labor Relations and Conflict Resolution for Kings County Hospital Center. Prior to that, he served as labor relations officer for Harlem Hospital and Lincoln Medical and Mental Health Center.??
A 2013 Network Journal 40 Under Forty honoree, Severe has a B.A. in English from Morehouse College and a J.D. from Thomas M. Cooley Law School.
