Kweli Wright was recently named parenting editor at Madame Noire.com. Prior, she was the associate editor at Mommy Noire where she covered parenting advice, fashion, style and recipes.
?In my new role, I?ll be more hands-on at crafting the content on the site. We will be streamlining the content and going deeper with the subjects we cover. Our goal is to really build our online community,? Wright told TNJ.com
She adds, ?There?s so much about being a parent and it?s important to know that it’s okay to make mistakes; not everyone parents the same way.???
Wright was part of the team that launched Madame Noire in 2010. Mommy Noire, its sister site, was established in 2012. The properties are owned by Moguldum Media.
A journalism graduate of Pace University, Wright has held positions at Trace magazine, The Village Voice, Global Grind and BET.com.
