Kim KeenanKim M. Keenan, former general counsel and secretary of the NAACP, was recently named president of Minority Media Telecommunications Council.?

Before joining the NAACP, Keenan headed up her own law firm after practicing law for 18 years.?

“I am thrilled to join the MMTC staff and to pursue my passion in media and telecommunications law, where I started my career,? said Keenan. ?I have always admired the way MMTC advocates for diversity and inclusion in the most important industries in the world, and I embrace this opportunity to contribute my experience and vision to their work.?

A graduate of Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service and the University of Virginia School of Law, Keenan is a member of the National Bar Association, is a past member of the District of Columbia Bar, and currently serves on the Senior Adjunct Faculty at the George Washington University Law Center.
