Henry Lewis III was appointed president of Florida Memorial University, a private, historically Black institution. A former chairman of the board of the Florida Education Fund, he is also dean and professor in the College of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences at Florida A&M University (FAMU), the same program from which he earned a bachelor?s of science. Past president of both Minority Health Professions Foundation and the Association of Minority Health Professions Schools, Lewis has a doctor of pharmacy from Mercer University Southern School of Pharmacy.????
