Doug ParksDouglas Parks was recently named Vice President, Human Resource Strategy & Transformation at EmblemHealth Companies.? In his new role, Parks will direct the HR organizational redesign effort, which focuses on building strategic business partnerships and improving the efficiency, delivery and cost of HR operations.? In addition, he will focus on all corporate diversity efforts.

Prior to joining EmblemHealth Companies, Parks was Global HR Leader for Talent Business at Mercer, a division of Marsh McLennan.? There, he lead the development and execution of the Talent line of business people strategy, including all aspects of colleague rewards, talent, engagement and learning and development.? He was also a member of the Global Talent Business Leadership Team.?? In addition, Parks worked at both Exelis Inc. and IBM where he held positions in HR organization strategy, and development and transformation.?

A native of Chicago, Illinois, Parks holds a Master of Science Degree in Learning and Organizational Change from Northwestern University and a Bachelor?s of Science in Organizational Leadership & Supervision from Purdue University.
