Earlier this year, sibling entrepreneurs John and Cris Carter –owners of Carter Brothers, LLC., in Atlanta, completed the acquisition of an electrical company that made the brothers the minority owners of one of the largest electrical services companies in the region.
In January, the brothers finalized the acquisition of D&N Electric Company for an undisclosed sum, making it the largest minority-owned services in the Southeast. The move by the company is part of a larger and previously announced business strategy to diversify the company and strengthen the Carter Brothers’ service platform, according to CEO John Carter.
?It {the acquisition of D&N Electric Company} will broaden the playing field and compliment our focus on security by simplifying electrical installation operations and unifying wired and wireless processes,? Carter said.
Carter Brothers’ is one of the largest privately held and minority and family-owned security and electrical services in the country. Cris Carter is a 2013 NFL Hall of Fame inductee and has co-owned the business with his brother since 2000.
