Aaron Walton, co-founder of Walton Isaacson ad agency, was named advertising executive of the year at this year?s Marketing to African-Americans with Excellence awards.
Hosted by Target Market News, the event was held at the Hyatt Gold Coast Hotel in downtown Chicago.

The MAAX Awards have been presented annually since 2006 to recognize the
contributions, innovations and exceptional performance of
African-American professionals in the fields of advertising, marketing,
media, public relations and research.
Since co-founding the agency in 2005, Walton has been the recipient of several awards including being listed on Ebony Magazine?s Power 100 list and a 2014 Agency Innovator by the Internationalist Magazine. The agency was honored in 2013 with ‘Advertising Agency of the Year’ by?Black Enterprise, and as one of the ‘Small Agencies of the Year’ by?Advertising Age in 2012. In 2014, Walton Isaacson was also ranked one of the?Inc.?5000 fastest growing private companies in the U.S.
