Tech Crunch is reporting that branding hero Bozoma, or “Boz,” as she’s known to her tech and marketing friends, Saint John is leaving her role as chief branding officer at Uber to join Endeavor. She joined Uber in 2017.
?I want to thank Boz for her contributions over the last year,? Uner CEO Dara Khosrowshahi told TechCrunch in an emailed statement. ?Boz joined Uber at a time when the company was hurting?but her energy, optimism and creativity have been a key part of our ongoing turnaround. Endeavor is lucky to have her, and I?m excited to watch her work in her new role.?
Saint John has had success in the branding, marketing and tech spaces and told TNJ.com in a 2014 interview that “The Internet has changed everything about everything. It?s made us faster and more nimble as marketers. We can reach people with better-targeted messages about what they want to hear, instead of throwing spaghetti on the walls to see what sticks. Ultimately, I hope we?re able to engage rather than annoy.”
At Endeavor, an entertainment company, Saint John will serve as chief marketing officer, a role she is familiar with having led global marketing as senior vice president of global marketing at Beats Music.
?Boz?s strong creative vision has the power to create cultural moments that are transformative for brands,? Endeavor CEO Ariel Emanuel said in a statement. ?We?re excited for what it means when her vision comes face-to-face with our client roster and portfolio of brands who are shaping the cultural conversation around the world every day.?
