TV Host & Voice Talent

As host of Recipe For Success, Marlie Hall is excited to finally combine her business expertise and television experience in a fun and inspirational way. After earning a bachelor's degree in journalism at St. John's University and a Master degree in communication at Dowling College, Hall began her television career at WLNY-TV.

Afterwards, she moved on to become an on-air news reporter for both WCBS-TV and News 12 in New York City. Hall has also contributed to newscasts on Black Entertainment Television and WCBS880 News Radio.

Launched in March 1999, The Network Journal's 25 Influential Black Women in Business Awards honors women whose professional achievements have significantly impacted an industry or profession, and who also have made an important contribution to her community. A "TNJ25" honoree typically is a business owner, or a partner, president, CEO, board chair, or other senior-management executive with significant decision-making authority in the corporate, nonprofit (including academia and medicine), or government sector.
