Media personality, philanthropist and influencer Stacie NC Grant, Ph.D., says she gets the greatest joy from serving others. “My grandmother and mother instilled in me a strong foundation of faith; love and integrity grounded in a heart of service,” she states. “I often quote this message from Mahatma Gandhi: ‘The best way to find yourself, is to lose yourself in the service of others.’”
Grant is the chief brilliance officer for C&G Enterprises Unlimited, LLC, specialists in meeting facilitation and professional development training. The firm was chosen to be the facilitator for the Community Advisory Council for the $13 billion JFK International Airport Redevelopment project. In 2014, Grant founded Destiny Designers University®, a training and development platform for Faithpreneurs® — faith-based entrepreneurs and professionals who center their businesses and careers in an affinity to God and faith. “Destiny Designers is a classroom without borders, where we graduate to the next best version of ourselves by turning inspiration into results,” Grant further explains.
Recognized this year as one of 2021’s Power 50 MWBE Businesses in New York State & New York City, Grant is the recipient of the 2016 Presidential Lifetime Achievement Award for Volunteer Service from President Barack Obama, a 2017 appointment as a Fellow of the Most Excellent Order of International Experts; and the 2019 “I change Nations (ICN) World Civility Ambassador Award. She has a bachelor’s degree from St. John’s University and a Ph.D. from Global Oved Dei Seminary & University. She is a Life Member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc.; founding president of its Phi Zeta Zeta Chapter in Queens, NY; associate member of Jack & Jill of America, Inc. – Queens Chapter; and co-chair of the Queens NYC Affiliate of the National Cares Mentoring Movement. She resides in Queens, New York with her husband, Andrew, and two sons, Josiah and Jeremy.
