How Much Are The Beneficiaries Going To Receive In June?

According to the data, which was last updated in the month of January this year, the average monthly Social Security retirement benefit is $1,976. However, the amount is highly dependent on the income the beneficiaries have earned in their working life. It also depends on the total number of years the beneficiaries were active contributors to the system through payroll taxes. The maximum one could get if they claim the benefits at 62 years of age is $2,831 every month. In case they wait till they turn 67, the benefits can go as high as $4,018 every month. If they claim the benefits at 70, the highest they can receive is $5,108 per month.
