WASHINGTON (AP) ? The White House says the U.S. has no indication that Moammar Gadhafi has left Libya, though his exact whereabouts are uncertain.

The White House comments come as Libyan revolutionary forces escalate offensives in two key Gadhafi strongholds.

White House deputy national security adviser Ben Rhodes says that while Gadhafi hasn’t been captured, the U.S. is confident his regime has collapsed.

President Barack Obama will meet with the chairman of Libya’s Transitional National Council in New York next week on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly meetings.
