In her statement, she mentioned how the US Open has always been looking for ways of making the championship more entertaining as well as easily accessible. She further added that the top tennis players competing side-by-side in a fast-paced, highly competitive format during the US Open Mixed Doubles are going to achieve that goal. Moving the championship toward the US Open Fan Week was also a crucial move, which now allows the championship to take the center stage. - The final this year is also going to be a best-of-three-set match to 6 games. It will feature no-ad scoring with tiebreakers at six-all and a 10-point match tiebreaker instead of a third set.
- All the matches this year are scheduled to take place at the Arthur Ashe Stadium or the Louis Armstrong Stadium.
