    King Jr.?s Life and Legacy

    Jan. 14 event includes performance by Blacks in Wax, Medicare
    educational seminar and screening of ?Anna Lucasta?

    As part of the Black Classic Cinema Series, UnitedHealthcare and the
    Harvey B. Gantt Center for African-American Arts + Culture will
    celebrate the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. federal holiday with a
    special event Saturday, Jan. 14.

    The event will begin with a performance by Blacks in Wax, an innovative
    educational youth group dedicated to African-American history and
    culture, at 1 p.m., followed by a Medicare education seminar by

    In addition, a video of the recent dedication of the Martin Luther King
    Jr. Memorial in Washington, D.C., will be presented, and a screening of
    ?Anna Lucasta,? the Black Classic Cinema Series January selection,
    starring Eartha Kitt and Sammy Davis Jr., will round out the day?s
