Unemployment rates have been slowly declining over the past few months. Recently, the Labor Department reported that the number of claims for unemployment decreased by 9,000 in the week ending Oct. 29th. This improvement, according to economists, is promising in the long run since, in April, the number of unemployment applications filed every week has been stuck around 400,000. It has finally fallen below that mark and experts claim it is worth taking notice.
