UBS AG, up 99 cents at $11.55

The Swiss bank said it still expects a modest profit in the third quarter despite a $2.3 billion rogue trading loss uncovered recently.

NRG Energy Inc., down 36 cents at $19.57

The energy company lowered its forecast for 2011 adjusted earnings after a heat wave in Texas pushed wholesale power prices higher.

Quaker Chemical Corp., up $3.25 at $27.70

The chemical manufacturer said it bought lubricants maker G.W. Smith & Sons Inc. to complement its existing product offerings.

Forest Oil Corp., up $1.01 at $9.90

A Canaccord analyst upgraded the natural gas producer to “Buy” from “Hold” after it spun-off one of its businesses.

Wynn Resorts Ltd., up $8.08 at $118.75

A Nomura analyst upgraded shares of the hotel and casino operator saying that a recent selloff makes it a good time to buy.

Travelzoo Inc., up $3.44 at $24.46

A Wedbush analyst said the growth prospects of the online travel deals company “remains high” and kept his rating at “Outperform.”

SciClone Pharmaceuticals Inc., up 27 cents at $3.74

The pharmaceutical company backed its annual revenue forecast and said it will buy back up to $20 million in stock over two years.

Sonic Corp., up 1 cent at $6.79

The fast food restaurant operator reported same-store sales during the fourth quarter that fell short of its expectations.
