MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif. (AP) ? Synopsys Inc., which makes software used to test and develop chips, said Friday that it bought privately held Extreme DA, which makes software for improving chip performance, for an undisclosed amount.
The deal was finalized Thursday.
Synopsys is based in Mountain View, while Extreme DA is based in nearby Santa Clara.
