SVELTE SMARTPHONE: Motorola’s is reviving the Razr name with its new Droid Razr smartphone. The phone, available Friday through Verizon wireless for $300 with a two-year service contract, is the skinniest smartphone available.
THE FEATURES: The Droid Razr has a big touch screen, fast processor and the ability to access Verizon’s high-speed 4G LTE network and a free content streaming service called MotoCast. Its battery, which can’t be removed, doesn’t last long when using the high-speed network, though.
THE BOTTOM LINE: The phone is chic and super thin, but its price tag and low battery life with LTE use may turn off potential customers.
