EXPANSION: Apple has launched its iTunes store in Brazil and 15 other Latin American countries.
UP IN THE AIR: It remains unclear how consumers will embrace the service, as music piracy is rampant in the region. One industry official believes the store, and expectations that Taiwanese manufacturer Foxconn will soon produce iPods, iPads and iPhones in Brazil, will help put a dent in piracy in that country.
