NEW YORK (AP) ? Stocks are opening mostly higher on Wall Street hopes that Greece will soon get its second bailout package.
Investors are growing more optimistic that European finance ministers will sign off on the Greek bailout and a bond swap agreement with Greece’s private creditors on Monday.
The Dow Jones industrial average is up 35 points at 12,939 shortly after the opening bell.
The S&P 500 rose 4 to 1,362 while the Nasdaq composite lost 4 to 2,956.
Most European and Asian markets rose. The CAC-40 in France rose 1.6 percent and Germany’s DAX rose 1.4 percent.
