Now that you have an exhaustive list of your core competencies and experiences and have successfully identified your purpose, it’s time to reach out to your family and friends to find the support that you need as you launch your new career. You may need their help in finding potential openings and/or in raising enough capital for a new business venture. You will also need a lot of moral support along the way so don’t hesitate to reach out.?

Update your skills. You should consider updating your training and education if your new career calls for it. You may also want to consider getting an internship in your newly chosen field to make sure that it really is a good fit for you.
