SSA Social Security Payment Disbursement Schedule

If you are someone who is expecting your Social Security payment soon, it is important for you to know SSA Social Security payment disbursement schedule. The Social Security Administration follows two different schedules for the disbursement of payments among the beneficiaries. It issues payments for beneficiaries who started receiving their benefits before May 1997 on the first three days of every month. Those beneficiaries who started receiving benefits after May 1997 get their payments from the Social Security Administration every Wednesday according to their birth dates.

Who Is Going To Receive The Social Security Payment On June 18?

According to the schedule described above, if you are someone who has started receiving benefits post-May 1997, you might be expecting your payment on June 18. Not all the beneficiaries receive the payment on a single Wednesday. The SSA has divided the disbursement schedule into three Wednesdays to make it less overwhelming for the administration. If you have birth dates between the 1st and 10th, you receive the parcel on the second Wednesday of the month. Those having birth dates between the 11th and 20th and the 21st and 31st are going to receive payments on the third and fourth Wednesday, respectively. The June 18 Social Security payment is coming for those who have birth dates between the 11th and 20th.

How Much Are You Going To Receive On June 18 If You Are Disabled?

If you are someone who is expecting your Social Security payment being a disabled person, you must know exactly how much you are going to receive. This year, the beneficiaries have witnessed a 1% increase over the previous year. This means the $2,000 figure is going to be exceeded this year. According to the records, over 69.6 million people in America depend on these payments as retirees, the disabled, and survivors. The disabled workers are going to receive an average of $1,581.97 per month. If you are someone receiving death benefits, you’ll get an average payment of $1,566.66 per month. Similarly, the SSI beneficiaries are going to receive an average of $718.30 per month.

How Much Are You Going To Receive On June 18 If You Are Not Disabled?

In case you do not hold the disability status and are expecting your Social Security payment as a retiree, you must also know how much to expect. The maximum benefits that you can receive as a retiree depend a lot on your age at which you have claimed your benefits. For instance, if you are someone who has waited for over 70 years, you are going to receive the highest benefit of $5,108. Similarly, if you are someone who has claimed their benefits rather early between the ages of 62 and 65 years, you are going to receive $2,831. What You Should Do In Case You Don’t Get The Social Security Payment On June 18?

In case you are someone who has established themselves to receive the payment, either as a disabled person, a survivor, or a retiree, you’ll probably receive the payment on time. However, if you don’t, there are various different reasons for that, including wrong bank information or existing loans with the bank. If your payment is delayed, you must check with the bank and wait for three business days before contacting the Social Security Administration. This is because the payments often take up to three business days to reflect in the accounts.
