Valerie White of Standard & Poor?s Ratings Services has been promoted to managing director of both not-for-profit housing and public finance structured securities. In this role, she will be responsible for analytical operation criteria development and thought leadership for business activity in the affordable housing sector.?
Before this, she served as senior director of the affordable housing group.
Named one of the 25 Influential Black Women in Business by The Network Journal, White joined Standard and Poor?s more than eight years ago. During her tenure, she has held several positions such as executive policy assistant for the Board of Commissioners and deputy director for asset management and private market operations.????
White earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications and a law degree from Fordham University. She also has a master?s degree and certificate in Organizational Development from New School University.
