South Carolina State University is a public, four-year college. Although this school is one of
many Historical Black Colleges & Universities, it welcomes people of all
races and ethnicities. It strives to deliver the highest standard of education
possible, as do all African American universities. Graduates of this school
have become scholars, just as others have from other black colleges.
