4-time U.S. Open champion Serena Williams was defeated this past weekend by newcomer Victoria Azarenka of Belarus, but the tennis star says the defeat will only make her stronger.
“Every time I lose, I get so pumped afterwards,” said 31-year old Williams at a pre-tournament press conference Saturday.

Williams, who has 16 Grand Slam titles and a recent French Open victory, will play against Francesca Schiavone tonight in the first night match at Arthur Ashe Stadium in Queens, N.Y.
