Rap mogul and entrepreneur Sean Combs has launched his much-talk-about television network Revolt TV. Headed up by veteran publisher Keith Clinkscales, the network is a music/video platform geared towards millenials.
According to a recent article in the Wall Street Journal, the 43-year old New York native and owner of successful brands such as Ciroc Vodka and clothing line, Sean John, said that his name changes (Puff Daddy, P.Diddy, Diddy, etc.) have contributed to problems along the way in the marketing of his brands:?
?Looking back on it, it?s probably been one of my biggest branding mistakes,? he said. Combs went on to say that the issue arises mostly when in comes to Internet searches.?
Currently worth $550 million, his name changes clearly didn?t cause but so much damage.
