Samuel L. Jackson has been in over 100 films since his debut in 1972. According to the Guiness Book of World Records, Jackson is now the highest grossing actor of all time. In total, his films have grossed over $7.4 billion for Hollywood and at 63 years old he appears to have no intention of slowing down.? As an actor, Jackson averages four films a year. This coming year will be no different as he is currently filming two movies and has two others in the production process. One of these films is Django Unchained, directed by Quentin Tarantino with whom he has worked on various other films.
Some of Jackson?s most legendary films include Jungle Fever, Do The Right Thing, Pulp Fiction, Jurassic Park, The Star Wars prequels, Eve?s Bayou – in which he also debuted as a producer – and Coach Carter. In total, The Star Wars prequels grossed $2.4 billion dollars, making them his top earners. Jackson, who also works in theater, is currently starring in a Broadway play called The Mountaintop.
