Ex-snowboarder Ryan Wedding is now officially a part of the FBI’s “Ten Most Wanted Fugitives” list. The United States of America has announced a reward of $10 million for any information that may lead to his arrest. The announcement came this Thursday on the 6th of March 2025. The Canadian former Olympian is wanted on charges of murder and drug dealing. If you want to know more about the news, this article is for you. What Akil Davis Said About Ryan Wedding?

Akil Davis is the assistant director of the FBI’s Los Angeles field office. In an official statement, he mentioned that Wedding went from shredding powder on the slopes at the Olympics to distributing powder Cocaine on the US streets. He also mentioned he is wanted for drug distribution in his native Canada as well.  Davis also added that he has allegedly murdered his competitors. This makes the former snowboarder a very dangerous man. He also informed that his aliases, including “El Jefe,” “Giant,” and “Public Enemy,” are currently under the protection of the Sinaloa drug cartel.

What Joseph McNally Said About Ryan Wedding?

Joseph McNally, the acting US attorney, also made a statement about Ryan Wedding and his alleged crimes. Wedding is wanted for allegedly shipping cocaine worth millions of dollars from Columbia through Mexico to the US as Canada. He also added that the organization is violent as well, responsible for deaths and many criminal activities. The said murders include the murders of November 2023 of 2 members of a family in Ontario. This was in retaliation for a stolen drug shipment. Wedding’s organization is also apparently responsible for the May 2024 murder in Niagara Falls because of a drug debt.

What Alan Milton Said About Ryan Wedding?

Alan Milton is currently serving as the chief of detectives for the LA Police Department. He also issued an official statement regarding Ryan Wedding and his long story of alleged crimes. He mentioned in his statement that Ryan used the city of Southern California as a hub for his drug smuggling activities. Hamilton added that around 60 tons of cocaine per year and five tons of fentanyl per month are estimated to be moved from LA on the way to the US and Canada.

Where Was He Last Seen?

The FBI issued a picture of Ryan, probably from the year 2024, when he was 43 years old. Ryan was wearing a blue baseball cap. He also had prominent tattoos on display.  Ryan was also wearing a gold watch on one arm. He was spotted wearing a $1,360 Louis Vuitton T-shirt with the words “Greetings from the Dream.” The bureau refused to reveal where the picture was. However, people believe Ryan is currently under the protection of the Sinaloa drug cartel as well.

Ryan Wedding Wanted: The Increase In Reward

The FBI, according to its previous announcement, was ready to offer $50,000 for any information that may lead to Wedding’s arrest. However, it increased the reward up to $10 million on Thursday. Marco Rubio, who is the U.S. Secretary of State, has authorized the award. In his official statement, he mentioned that the award is offered in contribution to the governments of both Canada and the United States of America. It is a unified action in an attempt to bring Wedding to justice. Alan Milton also stated that an increase in the reward makes it clear that there is no safe place to hide for Ryan Wedding.
