Remember adorable little Quvenzhane Wallis from 2012’s “Beasts of the Southern Wild” who became the Academy Awards’ youngest nominee for Best Actress? Well, since then, the 10-year old Louisiana native has gone on to get a lot more work including a role in this year’s Best Picture, “12 Years a Slave” as well as an upcoming starring role in a film version of “Annie.”
Now, she’s added fashion to her resume. Wallis is the new face of Armani Junior!
“Quvenzhané is so talented, despite her young age,” Giorgio Armani says in a press release. “Her kindness, curiosity and openness towards others really struck me, as they are all traits I admire. It is for this very reason that I wanted her to be the face of Armani Junior. With her insatiable energy, Quvenzhané made the clothing come alive, interpreting it in her own singular way.”
