With her mother, a professional bass player, and her father, a dentist who played classical violin, Robertson developed a love of music, boasting a playlist from classical to salsa to Afro-Celtic. ?It?s one thing that balances me,? she declares. ?The other is horses.? Born in Panama and raised in New Rochelle, N.Y., Robertson earned a bachelor?s degree in international business from Brown University and her law degree from Georgetown University. She is a member of the National Association of Investment Companies, National Association of Securities Professionals, Women?s Association of Venture & Equity and the National Association of Public Pension Attorneys. She served on the board of the National Association of Bond Lawyers and on the boards of community organizations, namely the Community Foundation of Palm Beach & Martin Counties, McAuley Village, Crossroads and PowerPlay.

Her advice to junior attorneys: ?Remember that you need to identify your strengths but work to develop and improve all skills. Ultimately, you will find out who you really are and what works for you. It is a process.?
