Paine College
is a small HBCU located in Augusta,
Georgia.
Providing quality liberal arts education is its mission, and like many black
colleges and African American universities, Paine instills ethical and spiritual
values into graduates. Among the oldest historical black colleges &
universities, Paine boasts a long list of notable alumni, including Shirley
McBay, the first African-American Dean at MIT, and author, film writer Frank
Yerby.
