The National Coalition of 100 Black Women Inc., Manhattan Chapter will hold a program on civic engagement, Saturday, January 26, 2013 from 1pm-5pm at the Adam Clayton Powell State Office Building in Harlem. No cost to attend. The program is designed to mobilize and empower African American women particularly women ages 18-35 to become actively involved in service and address community concerns. The program will explore how African American women can move ahead politically by running for office and getting elected. Participants will interact with a panel, attend breakout sessions and a networking reception. Participants will leave with a personal action plan for getting involved in their community.
