FRANKFORT, Ky. (AP) ? A company that grew out of an eBay clothing store is opening a national distribution center in Shepherdsville, bringing 300 full-time jobs and an $18 million investment.
Gov. Steve Beshear announced the plan by international online fashion distributor Nasty Gal on Tuesday.
Beshear said in a statement that company founder Sophia Amoruso started the eBay store in 2006, selling vintage clothing. The company now offers new and vintage clothing, shoes and accessories to customers in more than 50 countries.
The company expects to begin operations at the new Shepherdsville facility late this summer.
The state has approved Nasty Gal for tax incentives up to $3 million.
