This NOAA satellite image taken Thursday, July 21, 2011 at 10:45 AM EDT shows mostly clear skies over the Caribbean Island, with areas of active weather over Central America. A broad area of high pressure over the North Atlantic Ocean is producing sunny and dry conditions over most of the Caribbean Islands. However, a tropical wave positioned over Cuba is kicking up scattered showers over the western part of the country. At the same time, an area of low pressure over Panama is pushing warm, moist air onshore triggering heavy showers and thunderstorms. Meanwhile, isolated showers are popping up over the rest of Central America. (AP PHOTO/WEATHER UNDERGROUND)
