New York & New Jersey Minority Supplier Development Council?s 2012 Business Opportunity Expo will held at the New York Marriott Marquis, 1535 Broadway, from June 13-14.
It is considered New York City?s top conference on outsourcing to multicultural businesses. This year?s theme, ?Strategic Positioning For Your Future,? examines opportunities for minority businesses and corporations to explore methods of creating and maintaining successful business partnerships.
On June 13, the Expo will spotlight afternoon workshops and the evening kick-off reception. On June 14, the highlights include a full day of the popular trade fair packed with networking, give-aways and prizes.
The keynote speaker is Carla Harris, a Managing Director at Morgan Stanley Investment Management, chairman of Morgan Stanley Foundation and the author of Expect to Win. The Expo?s workshops include a purchasing forum with leading corporate chief procurement officers (CFOs) moderated by Leonard Greenhalgh, professor of management at Dartmouth?s Tuck School of Business and author of Minority Business Success: Refocusing on the American Dream.
The 2012 Business Opportunity Expo will present Evolve Awards promoting minority business and corporate partnerships. Also, minority businesses can promote their visibility with a Video Business Card.
On June 13, the 2012 Business Opportunity Expo will be held from 12:00noon to 5:00pm and on June 14, from 6:00am to 5:30pm.
Registration ranges from $325 for Council-certified MBEs to $1,000 for corporate non-members.
