For entrepreneur Michael Dennis, it’s all about family, football and of course, his business, the Big Green Group (BGG). The environmentally friendly telecommunications company based in Chester, NJ was recognized late last year by insurance industry giant MetLife and the New York Giants.
Dennis, a longtime IT warhorse, was a former vice president in business communications systems for Avaya, a spin off of Lucent Technologies, which morphed from parent corporation AT&T, started his company in 2010 and became a client of the MetLife Insurance Group in 2014. In addition to his entrepreneurial aspirations, Dennis is an avid and devoted fan of the NY Giants. ?I’ve been following the Giants for as long as I can remember,? Dennis said in an interview with TNJ.com. ?I celebrated with all of New York and New Jersey when they won the 2008 and 2012 Super Bowls!? Giants players Dhani Jones and David Diehl greeted Dennis at his North Jersey office.

In the widely viewed promotional video chronicling a day in the life of the CEO, Dennis was whisked to Met Life stadium in East Rutherford, NJ in a limousine and welcomed by two-time Giants Super Bowl champion Mathias Kiwankua, who presented Dennis with a Giants jersey and his 2012 Super Bowl championship ring and took him on a mini tour of MetLife stadium.? Dennis said, ?We appreciate the recognition of our small business by Met Life and the Giants,? he said. ?It’s been an incredible experience!?
