The San Antonio Spurs agreed to acquire De’Aaron Fox on the 2nd of February 2025 from the Sacramento Kings. The acquisition was part of a three-team trade involving the Chicago Bulls as well. Chicago Bulls signed Lonzo Ball to a 2-year-long extension worth $20 million on the 5th of February 2025. Washington Wizards also received Sidy Cissoko against Jonas Valanciunas on the same day. The New Orleans Pelicans also agreed to trade Daniel Theis and a 2031 second-round draft pick for cash considerations to the Oklahoma City Thunder.
The Washington Wizards also agreed to trade Kyle Kuzma for forward Khris Middleton in a swap deal with the Milwaukee Bucks. According to the deal, Milwaukee is going to send AJ Johnson and a 2028 first-round pick to Washington while they send Patrick Baldwin Jr. and a second-round pick in return.
The Philadelphia 76ers announced the acquisition of Quentin Grimes and a 2025 second-round pick from Dallas. The deal also involved Caleb Martin. Los Angeles Clippers agreed to trade P.J. Tucker to Utah Jazz for Eubanks and guard Patty Mills. Utah Jazz has also sent three first-round picks to the Phoenix Suns.
