Musk’s DOGE Blocked From Trump Ads: According to the reports from officials working in the Trump administration, the advertisements thanking Trump for sealing the borders were exempted from a DOGE review. There was such an unusual and compelling urgency for this campaign that it surpassed the bidding rules. DHS has officially budgeted a total of $200 million for these ads. If you are someone who wants to know more about Musk’s DOGE being blocked from reviewing spending on Trump’s ads, this article is for you. It brings you all the details you need to know about the advertisement campaigns.

What Kristi Noem Revealed About The Ads?

The Department of Homeland Security Secretary, Kristi Noem, appeared at a Conservative Political Action Conference dinner in February. During this dinner, she revealed how the idea of a campaign was actually President Trump’s own idea. Noem further added, revealing Trump specifically asked her to thank him in the ads, which she is clearly doing. She added how Trump told her that he wants her to thank him for closing the borders in the ads.

The Campaign Surpasses Bidding Rules

According to a report from the Associated Press, the Trump administration has surpassed the competitive bidding rules while selecting contractors for the ads. This is because President Trump declared a national emergency at the southern border when he took office. According to what the Trump officials wrote, DHS requires an immediate domestic and international campaign, directing the aliens within the U.S. and its territories to leave immediately. The officials cited the national emergency to impose this urgency. The ads also aim to discourage illegal immigration into the country. Officials also claimed that any delay in the campaign would allow illegal border crossings to continue to rise.

Ads Exempted From DOGE’s Review

Federal procurement data indicates that the ad deals with consulting firms with Republican ties are exempted from DOGE’s review. President Trump initiated DOGE’s sweeping “cost efficiency” with an executive order in February. The order directs every agency head and DOGE staff to review discretionary spending through federal contracts and grants. The aim of this review is to prevent waste, fraud, and abuse of taxpayers’ money. However, contracts and expenditures related to immigration enforcement, law enforcement, and public safety, as well as emergency spending, are exempted from this order. The administration cited this exemption to surpass DOGE’s review of the ad deals.

What Does The Ad Say?

In the domestic version of the ad campaign, Noem is seen thanking President Donald J. Trump for securing the border. She also thanked the President for deporting criminal illegal immigrants and for putting America first. She further added how President Trump has a clear message for those who are in the country illegally. The ad directs these illegal immigrants to leave now; if they don’t, DHS will find them and deport them. Noem also states that under President Trump, America’s borders are closed to lawbreakers. The international version of the ad campaign also thanks Trump. Noem states that under President Trump, they are defending American families and restoring their safety. She concluded the ads by saying President Trump is making America safe again.
