NEWPORT BEACH, Calif. (AP) ? Chip maker Mindspeed Technologies Inc. said Monday that it named Stephen Ananias as its new chief financial officer. He will begin at the end of October.
Ananias replaces Bret Johnsen, who left the company earlier this year. Kristen Schmidt, the company’s executive director of finance, had served as interim CFO.
Ananias, 36, most recently worked as controller at chip maker Broadcom Corp.’s broadband communications group. He was at the company for over 11 years.
