Presented by the National Association for Multi-ethnicity in Communications, the NAMIC Annual Awards Breakfast is held in conjunction with Cable Connection ? Spring as part of the National Cable Telecommunications Association's Cable Show 2011 scheduled for June 14-16 at McCormick Place in Chicago, IL. The NAMIC Annual Awards Breakfast will be highlighted by the presentation of the Next Generation Leader Awards honoring executives of color who are demonstrating exceptional business acumen and embody NAMIC's mission to educate, advocate and empower to achieve multi-ethnic diversity in the communications industry. ?Awards are presented in four categories: Cable MSO, Cable Programmer, Technology Company or Discipline and the newly added award for achievements in the Creative Discipline. ?Additionally, the association will present the Friend of NAMIC Award, which is conferred upon individuals or companies that have demonstrated a resolute commitment to advancing the cause and ideals of NAMIC. |
