A woman from Louisiana is allegedly charged with having hired two men to kill her ex-boyfriend at his house. The police believe that the lady hired these two men to kill her ex-boyfriend over a disagreement between them. This case had a further hearing on 5 June for an incident that occurred in January, resulting in the death of Jonathan Brookin.
What was Subrina Honore’s motive?
As we told, Jonathan Brookin was allegedly killed by his ex-girlfriend, Subrina Honore, and two or three men along with her. The 32-year-old man was a father of five children who got into an argument with Subrina after she forcefully entered his house. Subrina claimed that they both were in an argument about her baby’s paternity, which she said was Brookin’s. According to the court records, Subrina was caught threatening Brookin on social media for about a week before his death. One of the posts said that she has time that day and that she will be coming over to his house.
What happened on the day Jonathan Brookin died?
According to the court, on 27 January, Brookin had gone for a visit to one of his female friends who had two kids- one 5 years old and the other 6 years old. At around 6 pm, his friend remembered Subrina entering through the gate and started an argument with Brookin. She looked angry with a birth certificate in her hand, which she claimed was of the baby she had had with him before he left her.
The woman also revealed that when Subrina entered her house, she was in a corner of the house while Brookin was in the garage. She later found out that it was Subrina who had entered the garage. Even after many requests, she refused to leave the house when two men appeared in the driveway with guns. It was then that the woman chose to protect her children first and hid with them. However, when she got out after they went off, she found Brookin lying dead on the floor.
Investigation into Jonathan Brookin’s murder case
Investigation revealed that Jonathan Brookin was not murdered by two but three people after analyzing his wounds. In addition, it was also found that Brookin also fired from his rifle during their fight before he was hit with a bullet on his head.
On this statement, Subrina claimed that the first bullet was fired by Jonathan Brookin and not them. After the murder, Subrina ran away along with Thomas and the second man, still unknown. Subrina allegedly involved Thomas to get Jonathan to agree about the identification of the birth certificate, and also contacted the second man for his input. Brookin’s sister also revealed Subrina’s plan, which aligned with the incident, stating that she was threatening his brother for over a week.

The Police arrested Subrina and Thomas the next day on charges of murder and obstruction of justice, along with two others. Jatery Joseph and Jjaun Jasmin were also arrested in this case for unknown reasons, as the Police haven’t talked much about it.
Conclusion
This incident is horrifying as the girl preferred killing her ex-boyfriend for a claim which we don’t know is true or not. This makes us not believe anyone easily, as trusting the wrong one in this world may make you end to death.
