The clothing company said it will sell its namesake brand and several others to focus on its higher-end lines like Juicy Couture.

Johnson Controls Inc., up $1.58 at $31.72

The maker of building-efficiency systems said it expects its earnings per share to rise about 20 percent in 2012 on strong orders.

Teekay Corp., up $1.34 at $24.05

The oil and gas transporter bought eight ships that carry liquefied natural gas for $1.4 billion in a joint venture with Marubeni.

Coach Inc., up $1.79 at $61.08

A Jefferies analyst said that strong earnings results from rival luxury brand Burberry bodes well for the high-end handbag maker.

Pepsico Inc., up $1.75 at $62.70

The food and beverage company said higher sales and prices of its products boosted its third-quarter profit 4 percent.

Cliffs Natural Resources Inc., up $1.73 at $62.75

The mining company said it resumed production at a West Virginia mine after it was closed in May when carbon monoxide was detected.

Joe’s Jeans Inc., down 9 cents at 60 cents

The Los Angeles-based premium denim and clothing company said that third-quarter net sales fell 5 percent from the previous year.

Travelzoo Inc., up 2.29 at $30.18

A Jefferies analyst began coverage of the travel deals website with a “Buy” rating, citing its growing number of subscribers.
