LaToya Valmont was named managing editor at Glamour magazine. Prior, she served as production director.
In this role, shemanages the monthly issues from lineup to closing and oversees deadlines and layouts while supervising the production, copy, and research departments.

Before joining Glamour, a magazine owned by Conde Nast publications, Valmont worked at Essence magazine, first as production designer, second as production manager,? for ten years.?
Valmont earned a bachelor of arts degree in business communications and graphic design from Baruch College and a master of arts degree in graphic communications management and technology from New York University.
