NYC Health + Hospitals, the largest public health care system in the nation, appointed Sewit Teckie, MD, vice president to lead the Office of Enterprise Clinical Operations, covering five main areas: Affiliations and Provider Staffing; Credentialing and Medical Staff Offices; Medical Education; Shared Clinical Services; and Specialty Services. She will oversee the Office’s priorities, including expanding shared clinical services to improve patient access to specialists, building a sustainable physician and provider workforce, growing its undergraduate and graduate medical education programs, and supporting the clinical services offered by the system.

Dr. Teckie previously served as the system chief of Clinical Affairs. She is a practicing radiation oncologist who joined the health system as system chief of Radiation Oncology in February 2022, responsible for planning and implementation of cancer programs throughout NYC Health + Hospitals. Academically, she is a clinical associate professor of radiation oncology at New York University’s Grossman School of Medicine.

Originally from Eritrea in East Africa, Dr. Teckie attended Harvard College and Harvard Medical School, followed by residency and chief residency at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center. She received an executive MBA from Columbia University.

Harold Robinson Davis

The African Renaissance and Diaspora Network (ARDN), a non-profit recognized by the U.S. government and the United Nations, appointed Harold Robinson Davis as senior advisor for Latin America and the Caribbean.

Robinson is a seasoned international public servant with more than 35 years of experience in sustainable development, human rights and international cooperation. He has held senior leadership roles across the UN system, including regional director for Latin America and the Caribbean at the United Nations Population Fund, and UN resident coordinator and UNDP resident representative in Panama.

His appointment comes as ARDN prepares for the Global Youth Leadership Summit at the 2026 UN General Assembly in New York, linked to the Dakar (Senegal) 2026 Youth Olympic Games, and the symbolic Red Card Flame for Equality, which will connect New York and Dakar. ARDN operates in more than 80 countries and reaches over 250 million people. Its Red Card Campaign calls for an end to violence and discrimination against women and girls and serves as an entry point for advancing the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
