J. F. Drake State
Technical College, one of many black colleges, offers certificates, diplomas and
associates degrees in the applied technologies. One of the Historical Black
Colleges & Universities (HBCU) in the US, Drake State is a two-year
institution divided into five divisions. With diverse course offerings creating
a variety of career paths, their motto “Our Graduates Work” compliments this African American University’s
educational mission.
